Describe your project, we calculate the rest.

Five sheets, in the order an engineer would fill them in. The summary on the right updates with each answer.

Location

Where is your roof?

We query the European Commission's PVGIS database at your exact coordinates for solar irradiance, hour by hour.

What type of building?
Where should the panels go?
Roof shape
Enter your address above
to display your roof in satellite view.
Click “Draw my roof”, then place each corner of the roof (optional)
Sheet 02 / 05
Goal

What do you expect from solar?

Your priority guides the sizing: the recommended system size and the self-consumption strategy depend on it.

What would you like to do with the electricity you generate?
What type of installation?
What is your priority?
Full export
Full export to EDF OA. All the electricity generated is exported to the grid and sold to EDF OA under a 20-year contract, with no consumption constraints. The next step (consumption) will be skipped automatically.
Sheet 03 / 05
Consumption

How much electricity do you use per year?

Your annual consumption is used to build a personalised hourly load curve, matched against generation hour by hour.

kWh/year

When you click “Continue”, if you have not done so yet, you will describe your profile (heating, hot water, appliances, electricity contract…) in the quick calculator; your value will already be filled in there.

Would you prefer an hour-by-hour calculation?

Sheet 04 / 05
Roof

Describe your roof.

Orientation, tilt and available area determine the generation and the number of panels that can be fitted.

These settings are optional: leave them as they are to use the simulator's default values.

Tree, chimney, neighbouring building. Terrain and the distant horizon are already taken into account in the weather data.

Roof drawn in step 1 without several equipped faces? Add them here by hand (2 or 3), with their share of the area.

Sheet 05 / 05
Configuration

What system size should you install?

The peak power (kWp) sets the size of the installation. We start from the recommended value for your roof.

Installed capacity
6.4kWp
0.4 kWp36 kWp
Estimated generation ~8,240 kWh/year · about 16 panels.
System size and cost estimated automatically. The simulator will determine the system size best suited to your profile, your roof and your goal, as well as the associated reference cost; both are shown at the Results step.
€ incl. VAT

Adjust the amount if you have a quote. If left empty, the simulator applies a market reference cost.

No equipment field is required: leave as is for reference equipment.

Custom constraints

The optimiser will look for the system size that meets these limits (leave empty to ignore them).
